Born in 1932 in Taipei City, Taiwan. After graduating from National Taiwan Normal University, worked as an art teacher in an elementary school, and then became an art-editor in a publishing house. Main works include "Ten Brothers", "Little Whale in the Sea", and "Little Paper Ship in the Sea". Winner of many awards including 12th T'aiyang Award, Young Person's Picture Award in Taiwan, and others. Resides in Taipei, Taiwan.
