Born in 1941 in Taipei City, Taiwan. Graduated from the Taipei Municipal Teachers College. Since 1961, started to create picture books while editing children's books. Has published many picture books such as the "Little Red Taxi", "Hsiao-hong and Hsiao-lu" and the "New Year Festival", and also has designed Taiwan's New Year's stamps. Winner of many awards such as the Gold Prize of the Ministry of Education, Gold Prize of the Chinese Painters Association, Children's Book Award in Taiwan, Children's Book Award in Taiwan, and many others. Resides in Taipei, Taiwan.
