Born in 1946 in Kobe. Enrolled in the Department of Nihonga (Japanese-style painting) of Kyoto City University of Arts. Had comic strips published in magazine "GARO" from during college years. Begging with a serial comic strips in "Asahi Journal," currently active in a variety of areas of publish like original picture books, illustrations for novels, and others. Main works include "Nemui Nemui Nezumi" (PHP Interface), "Monsieur Meuniere o Goshokaishimasu" (Ehonkan), "Yappari Okami" (Fukuinkan Shoten) and "Nangi na Tankentai"(Shogakukan). Resides in Kyoto.
