Born in Kobe, 1963. Joint-winner at the 9th JPC concour in 1985. Graduated from Commercial Design department, Tokyo Designer's School in 1986. Graduated from Modern Design Labo in 1987. Enrolled in the Setsu Mode Seminor. After graduation, worked in designer's office, advertising agency and so on, and taught himself illustration. From 1993, started to work as free-agent illustrator, mainly works on the illustrations of several magazines.
