"Gomi Taro - The Wonderland of Picturebooks" Exhibition is held at
The Art Museum of Maruyamagawa Kouen, Toyooka, Hyogo, Japan.


The 2nd Japanese Exhibition of Gomi Taro, is held from Nov 1st 2003 to Jan 12th.
He is an author of over 300 picture books, one of the most famous Illustrator of children's literature in Japan.

Exhibition of "The Hans Christian Andersen Award 1956 - 2002 - 50th anniversary of establishment of IBBY, International Board on Booksfor Young People, supervised by JBBY, Japanese Board on Books for Young People" is being held at Kashiwazaki City Library, Niigata, from July 4th till July 27th.


"The Hans Christian Andersen Award" is the most authoritative award of children's books in the world. This is the 1st exhibition for this award in the world, over 300 of original children's books and drawings are exhibited at this exhibition place, which are written and drawn by the winners of this award.
